Titaania käytetään lävistyskoruissa, koska se on hypoallergeeninen, vedenkestävä ja nikkelivapaa materiaali. Se sopii erityisen hyvin herkälle iholle ja on oikea materiaali ensikoruksi uuteen lävistykseen.

Nännilävistyksessä yleinen paksuus on 1,6 mm. Tavallinen korutyyppi on suora barbell, mutta sopivuus riippuu anatomiasta ja lävistyksestä.

Parantuneessa lävistyksessä käytettävän korun pinnalle voi kertyä ihon rasvaa, kosmetiikkaa ja muuta likaa. Puhdista koru hellävaraisesti, huuhtele puhdistusainejäämät huolellisesti ja kuivaa koru puhtaalla, pehmeällä materiaalilla.
