DESCRIPTION AND MEANING OF THE DESIGN

At the center of this beard pendant is a vertical, branching rune symbol based on the Eihwaz rune. Eihwaz is associated with the yew tree – a tree that is poisonous but extremely durable – and symbolizes perseverance, protection, and the ability to survive difficult times. The rune represents quiet strength: that which does not bend in the face of adversity.
The oval frame brings the power together and protects it, while the surrounding braided Viking ornamentation refers to the intertwined threads of life and destiny. The gold-colored detail highlights the core of the rune and refers to power earned through experience.

The whole exudes durability, protection, and mental strength.

Is surgical steel a good material?

Surgical steel is a popular material for jewellery because it is durable and lasts a lifetime. The steel itself does not wear in use, but the coatings on it, such as gold plating (14K or 18K) or other metallic coatings, can wear over time.
