This nose jewellery model is inserted into the nose so that the talismanic end remains inside the nose to prevent the jewellery from dripping. The jewellery looks like a full ring on the nose, as the open part of the ring remains inside the nostril.
316L steel is a well-used material for piercing jewellery. The gold plating and black coating on the steel last well, but do wear off over time as the jewellery is worn. The wear on the coatings is largely influenced by the use of the jewellery and the skin's own PH.
